Beej shows up at Glen's.
Neets shows up at Glen's.
Neets makes Beej find out his age, place of birth and parents.
Beej and Neets meet Neets' mother and (sort of) half-sister.
Beej shows Neets a picture of Neets' sister's uncle.
Neets has a small epiphany and sleeps with Beej.
Neets and Beej run in to Carrot again and learn that she is Neets'
half-sister.
Neets and Beej eventually fall in love.
Neets meets his father, but doesn't recognize him.
Neets' father and mother kidnap Beej.
Neets calls Carrot, who calls Laurie.
Laurie, who is now hanging out with Jiffs, tells Thomas.
Thomas, who is pulled out of lolling about in bed with Cole, goes to
see Neets.
Whilst Neets and Thomas are talking, Beej is released and returns to
Neets.
Thomas goes back to Cole, case closed, right?
Wrong.
Neets and Beej hang out for a bit, then Neets runs away out of guilt
over Beej's being abducted.
Neets goes to see Thomas, who has decided that he's in love with
Cole.
Thomas and Neets explore his {Neets'} past and mental abilities for a
bit.
Neets, miserable without Beej, decides to go back.
Before he can get there, Ruth and Ti accost him.
They rough him up, then let him go.
He trades a night with himself for a new fader, and, now feeling
worse than ever, goes back to Beej.
Beej, silly, besotted man that he is, forgives Neets and things
return to mostly normal.
They go out trading, Neets discovers that he now finds other people
attractive (where he hadn't before) and turns eighteen.
The End... for now.
Asterisks, number or pound signs, doubled tildes and -= =- are used to seperate action and thoughts from spoken words.
The doubled parentheses are used for Out-Of-Character speech, or the author's words; the exchange in SL27 about slow-dancing to NIN is a good example of this.
WHY is all of this going on? Well, because it's fun! Oh, wait, I mean... *Grin* 'Scuse me. Anyways... The ORP is an ongoing game that incorporates two unlikely generes- Romance and Espionage(Sp? It always looks funny...), or at least it has _recently_ (See SLs 11-48 for further proof).
(More on the elements incorporated into TSLC and The ORP in general can be found here.)
The Octabulonian Galaxy is ruled by an Emperess, Her Majesty Marilena Greene. Citizens that _don't_ have a price on their heads include Neets, Beej, Carrot, Trinity, Fennyl RaisinCain and Spiffy BugCatcher.
The Bertwillians are a sort of cultish section of the populace, hell-bent on capturing the throne, throwing out all the laws and living like hedonistic heathens for the rest of their natural lives. Some of the Berts are Ruth, Ti, Fern, Fennel RaisinCain and Sazan DeMers.
The Meddlers are neutral. They are mercenaries, after a fashion, hired by people for various tasks. They do a little of everything, from character assassinations to following cheating spouses to finding lost, kidnapped or runaway kids... If the price is right, they'll do it. Fraser, Celaré, Jonas, Laurie and Jiffy PopSpringer are current and former Meddlers.
The Innocent Bystanders are pretty much non-ORP charcters that ORP Cs talk to. Ninjara, Lea'adra and Aeric Ravensmith, Tril'caith and Bel'flyt ShrikesBerry, Feldath ShrikesBerry, Avian HawksBerry, Zelda, and Kyle Stranger from IWT are TIB's.
